What Mabat3D Was Facing
Mabat3D's 3D geospatial viewer was impressing prospects in live demos but failing to convert them when they accessed the platform independently. Self-guided exploration was disorienting without expert guidance, and prospects who couldn't reproduce the demo experience lost confidence in the product — killing conversion at the evaluation stage.
The Solution
What We Built
We designed a self-guided demo mode with contextual overlays that recreated the key moments of the live demo experience. Navigation controls were redesigned around spatial intuition rather than GIS conventions, and a "highlight reel" feature let prospects bookmark and share specific 3D views. The demo-to-sign-up CTA was embedded within the product experience at peak engagement moments.
